This Sunday, Mike McClung shared the last message from the Christlikeness series, called “From Captivity to Captivity.” Whether we like it or not, we will be captive to God or something else — some principle or thing — we cannot exist in a liberty vacuum apart from the LAW of sin and death or the LAW of the Spirit of life. The Lord accomplishes this “captivity” in us not with intermittent spurts of consecration, rededication and ecstatic experiences, but a continuous walk embracing the cross principle and an unfolding revelation of His glory and purpose. Will we agree to His terms?
