This Sunday, Mike McClung taught Part 9 of the Pattern of the Son of Man Series. In this message, Mike McClung addresses what it means with scripture refers to the “Day of the Lord”, and what we are to do about it. In Ezekiel 13, the Lord rebukes the leaders and the people for their lack of readiness for the Day of the Lord. False prophets were preaching messages of peace and safety and in response, the people were carrying on with life; all the while there was a day coming to them that would test all of them. We are in a similar day. Ezekiel’s message to the people is the same message to us now: build up the walls of righteousness through repentance; stand in the gaps of intercession, and prepare yourself, your family, your fellowship and all within your influence to “stand in the day of battle.” Because the Day of the Lord is at hand.
