This Sunday, Mike McClung transitioned to a new series called “Life in the Body of Christ.” It is another in the teaching series that focuses on the Body of Christ–its original purpose, function and expression. In Part 1, Mike explains that though the word “witness” is thrown around a lot in modern Western churches, the scriptural meaning of our witness for Christ has more depth than is often taught. Rev. 2 and 3 shows us how the Lord examined each church, and the issue was whether the Lord would allow them to remain if they did not manifest a witness to His resurrection life. In our day, we have so much activity in our churches, but are we building a Body connected to the Head? If we are, we should see the Lord’s transforming life and presence manifested in our midst.
