This Sunday, Mike McClung shared another part of the Restoring the Ruins: Generations Series. This message, Part 9, is called “Breaking the Generational Transfer of Shame.” In it, Mike discusses how shame can hinder our perception of God’s heart toward us, and leave us devastated with curses, lies and strongholds of fear. Instead of thinking, “I made a mistake,” we begin to believe, “I AM a mistake.” Mike goes on to explain some of the signs and manifestations of shame, which can look very different from the outside. We must return to our Father, who loves us and wants to show us mercy.
