This Sunday, Ben Brown shared a message called, “How the Father Trains Us.” It is a look at how the Father trains us by how He trained Jesus. Though He was equal to God in His divinity, as the Son of Man, He was limited to our humanity. As a man, like us, Jesus learned from the Father, and was raised up by the Father, in the daily grind of life. He came to maturity in the testing of the mundane. This is the method we should expect from Abba as He trains us. And if we submit to the process, it becomes more fruitful, and we can actively participate and partner with Him in training ourselves and others.
