This Sunday, Mike McClung continued with the “Overcoming Life” series, with “Part 3, Making God’s Choices My Choices.” In our daily life, we must develop the skill of seeing everything during our day as an opportunity to train and practice the truth. Though multitudes of organized church services and teaching go on every week, most are about excitement, inspiration, and entertainment, and they do little or nothing to train the saints to “stand in the day of battle.” (Ez. 13:5) It is by working with the Spirit and the word that we develop the skill to fully engage His purpose. Yet if we continue to live by the lies of this world–a self-pity victim mentality; etc.–we will never see the promises of God fulfilled.
