This week, David Townsend shared a message called “Becoming a Spiritual People.” In this message, David talks about truly becoming a spiritual people, that is, a corporate Body full of the Holy Spirit, diffusing the image and aroma of Christ. Many times we focus on denying the self-life, yet we forget to add the life, light and beauty of Christ. We, as humans, were made to enjoy beauty in the face of Christ. If we don’t take the time to do so, even through the vessels He has used to express it, we will be left starving. We must aim higher with our pursuit, and let the Holy Spirit enliven us.
